Its color varies according to its chemical composition. It becomes darker as the iron content increases. The characteristic of mica is its insulating property. It is resistant to high temperatures and has a lustrous appearance. Its physical and chemical properties are stable, and it also has good heat insulation, elasticity, and toughness. It has been processed into flexible transparent sheets with varying degrees of flexibility. In industry, the most commonly used is white mica, followed by gold mica. It is used in the building materials industry, fire protection industry, fire extinguishing agents, welding, plastics, electrical insulation, papermaking, asphalt paper, rubber, pearlescent pigments, and other chemical industries.
